New for 2019, Lagoon introduces the 46, a new generation Lagoon catamaran exhibiting all the characteristics that have contributed to the brand's enduring success with owners.
Enjoyment of life on board was the driving impulse behind this new catamaran, evidenced by her elegant lines, the clarity of light inside and her connected and generous spaces.
The 46 retains the distinctive aspects of the Lagoon 450, with a deep and welcoming forward cockpit, a spacious aft cockpit and a versatile flybridge, perfectly combining handling and relaxation areas.
As a new generation Lagoon, however, she features a mast stepped further aft, allowing for a shorter boom with a high aspect ratio mainsail, a self-tacking jib and a large fore-triangle for a greater choice of headsails. Additionally, the 46 offers an electric captive winch for the mainsail for ultimate ease of handling.
Reaching the flybridge is quick and easy thanks to the dual access routes: one by way of the aft cockpit, the other from the deck. On the flybridge, the helm station affords both protection and visibility. For greater comfort, a choice of sun protection is available: a folding hood or a rigid bimini.
The 46 promotes relaxation, with its many social spaces, and hospitality, with an aft cockpit galley to complement the adjacent main salon galley.
A few steps from the main salon, access to the sea is via wide and safe transoms. And the optional Tenderlift electric hydraulic dinghy platform - in place of traditional davits - offers a new living space at the stern of the boat as well as facilitating access to the water.
