The Lagoon 50 fills out the middle of the Lagoon range, sitting as she does between the Lagoon 450 and 52 models.
The Lagoon 50 benefits from the latest Lagoon sail plan:
self-tacking jib for easy maneuvering
a large forward triangle for a wider choice of downwind sails
a shorter boom for easier handling
a mainsail with a high aspect ratio for better performance
the centering of rigging weight considerably reduces pitching
The Lagoon 50 offers an incredible amount of space in a 50' yacht, with multiple areas for social gathering and relaxation: the flybridge with its modular recreation area behind the helm; the large aft cockpit with removable bench seating; and the forward cockpit on the foredeck.
The innovative main salon features an open galley, an elevated lounge/dining area with panoramic views and a retractable central window section offering maximum natural ventilation and direct interaction with the forward cockpit area.
The Lagoon 50 offers generous storage spaces throughout, with island bed berths forward and aft, hanging lockers and open bookcases. All freshwater tanks and black water holding tanks are located beneath the floorboards.
There are not only 3-cabin and 4-cabin layouts, as would be expected, but even an option for a 6-cabin version (see layout diagrams below).
